On Saturday 17th August 2019 we moved from Hinde House Crescent after 10 years in the house.

 

The owners of Hinde House have been so generous towards us. They bought the house for us to use, have never charged us any rent All we have had to do is pay the bills. Through their generosity large numbers of people who were homeless have had a place to call home.

Now another wonderful couple have bought a fantastic house in the S8 area for us to use on the same basis! They have even had a great new bathroom fitted.

 

Furniture has been provided by various friends and supporters to replace that which was now rather old, allowing three guys to moved in.

 

 

On the 17th a team of us including Phil, Nico, Ian, Jonathan, Sheerzad, Mokhtar, Samuel, and Ali emptied Hinde House and filled a van we had hired. We collected some replacement furniture on the way and met some new friends.
Ian and Ali did a sterling job getting the washing machine into the basement of the new house down a narrow staircase!

A gift from South Sheffield Church received last week will cover all the moving costs.
